This morning Pixar dropped a new teaser trailer for the animated film “Lightyear” on Good Morning America, along with a new poster on social media.
The film is an origin story about the “Toy Story” character of Buzz Lightyear, which actually tells the story of the hero that inspired the toy.
In the animated film, actor Chris Evans goes from Avenger to Space Ranger as he voices the human Buzz Lightyear. No other actors have been announced for the voice cast
“Lightyear” will be directed by Annie Award-winning director and veteran Pixar animator Angus MacLane. His previous work as director includes “Finding Dory,” and he was an animator on “Toy Story 2” and “Toy Story 3,” among other Pixar classics.
