Walt Disney World Announces Mickey’s PhilharMagic Refurbishment Oct. 11-Nov. 11

Coco is now a part of Mickey’s PhilharMagic Concert

This will be the last week to see Mickey’s PhilharMagic Concert at Magic Kingdom before it undergoes refurbishment from October 11 – November 11, 2021.

The month-long closure will allow several enhancements to be installed, including a new digital projection system.

The main highlight of the refurbishment will be the addition of a new scene from Disney and Pixar’s “Coco” featuring the song “Un Poco Loco,” which will join in on Donald’s musical misadventures.

World-renowned Germaine Franco, one of the film’s original composers, worked on adapting the score to the attraction.

The musical number is already present in Mickey’s PhilharMagic Concert at Disney California Adventure park and Disneyland Paris, having debuted at both parks on July 17, 2021.

If you’ve had a chance to see the new Mickey’s PhilharMagic Concert at either park, let us know what you thought in comments. And if you want to see the attraction at Walt Disney World before it changes, you have until Sunday.
