We’re back at Disney Springs for another walk-around to see what’s new and what’s next. It was the last day of January and crowds were busy, but not crazy. It may have been early afternoon, but already the musicians were setting up their instruments to provide that extra little amount of atmosphere that separates Disney Springs from other malls in the area. The Disney Springs Westside in particular is seeing a lot of change.
Disney Springs is a popular destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The major upgrade it went through rethemed it to Florida history creating an entirely now town with its own backstory and the result has been better than I think anyone expected. While the majority of work is done in the Town Center area, the Westside continues to see some TLC. We also hear the Marketplace, which contains the original Disney Village area from Walt Disney World, could be next for changes.
