Celebrity Disney: New Orleans Saints’ Drew Brees rides Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ahead of NFL Pro Bowl

Who Dat? Yep it’s Drew Brees superstar quarterback of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints inside the iconic Star Destroyer hanger, one of the massive scenes of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Known on the field as Cool Brees and Hurricane Drew, let’s see if Brees was able to keep his cool while riding Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance for the first time in this new video:

We love Drew’s reaction at the end of the video. Totally impressed with how it feels like he was in a Star Wars movie, but not willing to give away any of the big spoilers. That’s a real fan.

Brees is in town for the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl, which will be played tomorrow Sunday Jan 26 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL. Like many of the players, he took some time yesterday to visit Walt Disney World with his family.

And, of course, while at Walt Disney World they posed for the requisite family photo in front of Cinderella Castle!

While in Star War: Galaxy’s Edge Brees also built a droid with his so Bowen in the Droid Depot.

Not only did Brees lead the Saints to their first ever Super Bowl win in 2010 at Super Bowl XLIV, he holds NFL records for career pass completions, career completion percentage, career passing yards, and career touchdown passes.

Of course Drew visited Walt Disney World for a victory parade after his Super Bowl MVP win. He also visited Disneyland last March to celebrate his daughter’s birthday.
