Epcot fills in calendar for first 2019 Candlelight Processional Narrators

A massed choir, a 50-piece live orchestra, and celebrity narrator combine into one of Disney World’s most cherished holiday memories – the Candlelight Processional in Epcot’s America Gardens Theatre. The Candlelight Processional is one of the central entertainment options of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays which runs from November 29-December 30.

It’s a late Thanksgiving in 2019 with the holiday not falling until November 28. The first Candlelight Processional will be the next night.

Here are the narrators announced so far.

Whoopi Goldberg – 12/6-12/7
Pat Sajak – 12/16-12/18
Steven Curtis Chapman – 12/22-12/24
Edward James Olmos – 12/25-12/26

You can catch the Candlelight Processional performance three times per night at 5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m.. If prime seating is important to you, we suggest booking a breakfast, lunch or dinner Candlelight Processional Dining Package at select Epcot eateries. Availability is limited and advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit. Bookings for Candlelight Processional Dining Packages will begin on July 3.

Good news for DVC Memmbers and Annuals Passholders, you’ll get to book your dining package one day earlier with the window opening on July 2. Annual Passholders should call 407-WDW-DINE while DVC Members can contact DVC Member Services at 800-800-9800.

We also suggest allowing time to explore the rest of the Festival of the Holidays including Holiday Kitchens for tasty treats, special holiday traditions at 11 different world showcase pavilions, and the holiday shops set up around the world showcase. For 2019 only, you’ll also be able to experience Epcot Forever, a limited-time replacement for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, which debuts October 1.
