Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6 premiere episode synopsis

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns to TV on May 10th for the premiere of its sixth season. The opening episode is titled “Missing Pieces” and is directed by longtime star Clark Gregg. We’re big fans of the show here and hope to see it continue with some strong storytelling in the Marvel universe.

Scattered across the galaxy, the team works to find their footing in the wake of losing Coulson.

Last season, the team leaped forward in time to a dystopian future they soon realized must be prevented. While facing multiple timelines and new enemies from faraway planets, they found family, friends, teammates and the courage to pull off their biggest challenge yet.

Their next challenge? Coming to grips with the knowledge that bending the laws of space and time may have saved the planet, but it couldn’t save Fitz or Coulson.

Coulson on the other hand, we’ve read that we see in season 6 of Clark Gregg is supposed to be a completely different character. We’ll find out.

The Season 6 premiere of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” airs Friday May 10 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT, on ABC, streaming and on demand.
