Epcot’s Living with the Land gets into the holiday spirit

Living with the Land at EPCOT’s The Land pavilion is getting into the holiday spirit. There among the 9-pound lemons and hydroponics are Christmas decorations designed to make the ride just a little more festive.

Some of the Christmas decorations are made with items you could find being grown in the greenhouses. We’re not sure what these snowmen are made out of. Sand, we guess.

As one of EPCOT’s original attractions (known originally as Listen to the Land), Living with the Land tells the story of the Earth’s biomes with trips through a tropical rainforest, a desert, and the American prairie. The majority of the attraction is a change for Disney to show off with its living laboratory that includes four growing greenhouses and a fish farm.

Some of the food you eat at Epcot restaurants is grown right in these greenhouses. If you want to learn more about how all the systems work inside the greenhouses, be sure to sign up for the “Behind the Seeds” walking tour. The cost is $25 per adult and $20 per child.
