The Disney PhotoPass service that comes with your Annual Pass or a Memory Maker package can be a great way for guests to capture those special moments from the park without lugging their own camera around. The Disney cast members with Photopass cameras are nearly ubiquitous in the parks these days and many attractions have the service included as part of the ride.
Lately, the service has been trying out some new photo locations where special props can enhance the guest experience. The latest of these is at the China Pavilion.
Ever evening starting around 7:30pm (weather permitting) a Disney PhotoPass photographer will be stationed in the China Pavilion with a glowing lotus blossom prop you can include in your photo.
Similar prop photos are available near the Tangled tower in Magic Kingdom and at the Flower & Garden festival near the topiary of Snow White.
Every trip we now try and get a PhotoPass memory in front of the parks icon or with a character. That way we have at least one photo of our whole party together.
