We’re getting our first listen at the theme song for Magic Kingdom’s new fireworks show – Happily Ever After. As most of Disney’s new shows, it will involve much more than just fireworks. There will be lasers, lighting effects, digital projections, and more.
The soundtrack will be more contemporary too. Disney has released a taste of what the new theme song will sound like in this video of the recording session in London. Lead vocals are performed by country music artist Angie Keilhauer and singer Jordan Fisher, who was featured on the ‘Moana’ soundtrack and recently performed in Broadway’s ‘Hamilton.’
This will be the first new show since October 2003.
“Happily Ever After” starts May 12, which means May 11 will be your last chance to see Wishes.
If you’re going to miss Wishes, you may want to bookmark this video, which is Disney’s livecast last night’s performance of Wishes at the Magic Kingdom. Jump to 7:45 for the start of the fireworks:
Are you looking forward to finally having a new fireworks extravaganza at the Magic Kingdom?
