When you enter the lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you can’t help but notice the huge gingerbread house creation of the hotel. Even if you dont see it, your nose will point you in the right direction. We love the detail on the massive confection and had fun hunting for hidden Mickeys.
The cookie sculpture stands seven feet tall and twelve feet wide. It took over 1,400 labor hours to bake and assemble and required six craftsmen and two electricians. 16 bakers and pastry chefs also participated.

12 gallons egg whites
3.5 gallons lemon juice
150 pounds fondant
1 pound glitter
