It’s November 1st, the day after Halloween and you know what that means Christmas fans… Santa’s Elves have been hard at work overnight at the Magic Kingdom packing away the Harvest decorations and beginning to install the first glimpses of Christmas joy.
Here’s a look at what we saw on our visit today:
- MNSSHP sign is gone
- Festival garland
- First sign of Christmas on Main Street
- Do you have a Hidden Mickey Wreath at home?
- Even stores getting into the act already
- Jingle Cruise sign is up
The first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is November 7th, so look for all the decorations to be up by then for certain. My understanding is that the Christmas TV Special will begin doing some filming very shortly as well.
Christmas doesn’t come until November 25th at EPCOT. Disney’s Hollywood Studios starts its new digital projection holiday show on Nov 14th. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is usually the last to be complete, but who knows this year. Also we have new Disney Springs holiday decor to look forward to. Stay tuned for full reports on each.
What is your favorite part of Christmas season in the parks?
