It’s November 1st, the day after Halloween and you know what that means Christmas fans… Santa’s Elves have been hard at work overnight at the Magic Kingdom packing away the Harvest decorations and beginning to install the first glimpses of Christmas joy.
Here’s a look at what we saw on our visit today:
The first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is November 7th, so look for all the decorations to be up by then for certain. My understanding is that the Christmas TV Special will begin doing some filming very shortly as well.
Christmas doesn’t come until November 25th at EPCOT. Disney’s Hollywood Studios starts its new digital projection holiday show on Nov 14th. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is usually the last to be complete, but who knows this year. Also we have new Disney Springs holiday decor to look forward to. Stay tuned for full reports on each.
What is your favorite part of Christmas season in the parks?
I listen to Main Street Christmas loop on YouTube throughout the year. Can’t wait until we arrive Dec. 6.
I guess my favorite are the Christmas scenes from Mickey’s Christmas Carol in the windows along Main Street.
Christmas special filming will take place Nov. 9-13 at the Magic Kingdom.
