One of my favorite marketing campaigns from Marvel leading up to Ant-Man was the series of videos from WHIH World News. The videos helped begin revealing the aftermath of Avengers: Age of Ultron and leading up to Ant-Man by introducing to some of the main players in the movie. I also loved that we got to see more from Christine Everheart, the reporter from the first two Iron Man movies.
A couple of weeks ago, WHIH began uploading a new series of videos leading up to Captain America: Civil War. Right now there are three videos on their Youtube channel each featuring a debate about who should be responsible for the damage caused by the Avengers all over the world. Leslie Bibb reprises her role as Everheart and falls squarely in the #TeamIronMan camp wanting the Avengers to be held accountable for their actions. Al Madrigal (The Daily Show) plays a political analyst, Will Adams, who argues that the Avengers have saved their lives enough times that, in a show of gratitude, we should let them off the hook.
