One of my favorite marketing campaigns from Marvel leading up to Ant-Man was the series of videos from WHIH World News. The videos helped begin revealing the aftermath of Avengers: Age of Ultron and leading up to Ant-Man by introducing to some of the main players in the movie. I also loved that we got to see more from Christine Everheart, the reporter from the first two Iron Man movies.

A couple of weeks ago, WHIH began uploading a new series of videos leading up to Captain America: Civil War. Right now there are three videos on their Youtube channel each featuring a debate about who should be responsible for the damage caused by the Avengers all over the world. Leslie Bibb reprises her role as Everheart and falls squarely in the #TeamIronMan camp wanting the Avengers to be held accountable for their actions. Al Madrigal (The Daily Show) plays a political analyst, Will Adams, who argues that the Avengers have saved their lives enough times that, in a show of gratitude, we should let them off the hook.

Here are the first three episodes

April 22, 2016 – Avengers Impact

April 26, 2016 – The Cost of Saving The World

April 28, 2016 – The Avengers and the White House

I wouldn’t be surprised if one more shows up for the movie is released on May 6th so check back on their Youtube channel or follow them on Twitter.

Are you #TeamIronMan or #TeamCap?

Chris grew up during the Disney renaissance of animation and took his first trip to Disney World when he was ten. He can also be found indulging in his nerdy side (both Disney related and otherwise) at
