Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs offers two February special menus

One of my favorite new places to eat at Disney Springs is Morimoto Asia, the Asian Fusion restaurant founded by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto. A great place for lunch, dinner, or sushi, it’s also a fun atmosphere to celebrate any special events or holidays. So it’s no surprise that a pair of fantastic menus are planned for Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day.

On February 8, ring in “The Year of the Monkey” and celebrate Chinese New Year with a four course, family-style dinner of Pan-Asian specialties including Chef Morimoto’s signature Peking Duck for $75 a person.

From Feb. 12 – 14, celebrate Valentine’s Day with a romantic dinner for two with a four course, prix-fixe menu starring Chef Morimoto’s signature Peking Duck for two. Other courses include Duck Caesar Salad, Hamachi and Duck consommé and for dessert, the Morimoto parfait, a meal-ending showstopper built for two (or more) piled high with vanilla gelato, chocolate creampuff, sesame mochi, hazelnut crunchies and whipped cream ($85 a person). For an even more exclusive and intimate culinary experience on Feb. 14 only, it’s chef’s choice with a five-course Omakase dinner at the intimate second-level 14-seat sushi bar ($150 a person).

I tried the Peking Duck on my first visit to Morimoto Asia and was very impressed. In addition to the traditional plum sauce, Morimoto Asia also serves a bowl of their amazing hoisin sauce. The Morimoto Parfait dessert is a must-have as well. Even if you don’t plan to take advantage of either of these special menus, it’s worth a visit to try both of these items.

Reservations are highly recommended. To book a reservation please call 407-939-6686 (MOTO) or try Open Table.
