I have an aspiring tap dancing star in my house, so I may be a little biased when it comes to today’s Videopolis, but this new video from Scott Bradlee‘s Postmodern Jukebox and tap dancer Sarah Reich set to a Star Wars medley is fantastic. Postmodern Jukebox is known for taking modern classics and giving them an old-timey twist (think Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” redone as a 20’s flapper-era jazz from the musical Chicago). Sarah Reich is known for putting a new beat to nearly anything with her amazing tap dance ability. Together, they take this video to a galaxy far, far away:
That was mesmerizing. You can catch more Postmodern Jukebox on YouTube or in person on tour. Sarah Reich tours and has her own YouTube channel as well. Fair warning though. Once you start listening, you’ll fall in love and won’t come out of that rabbit hole for a few hours.
