Netflix Gets Exclusive Global Streaming Rights For Season One Of ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder”

Netflix has announced that it has locked in an deal with ABC Network for exclusive worldwide rights to stream season one of their hit series, “How To Get Away With Murder.”

All season one episodes are now available to stream in the U.S., Canada and Latin America on Netflix, and all remaining and future territories beginning in late 2015 or early 2016.

The series centers on the brilliant, charismatic and seductive Annalise Keating (Viola Davis who just won an Emmy for her role) who gets entangled with four law students from her class in a murder mystery. It is created and executive-produced by Pete Nowalk. Shonda Rimes, Betsy Beers, and Bill D’Elia also serve as executive producers.

“‘How To Get Away With Murder’ is ABC’s highest rated new series from the 2014/15 season,” said Janice Marinelli, President, Disney-ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution. “This agreement to make our season one episodes available underscores the value of this series, and reinforces the overall popularity of ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ on ABC and its other first-run platforms around the world.”
