There’s been quite a bit of news and teasers in the world of Marvel since Comic-Con.

On the big screen, movie directors from all over the MCU having been teasing their next projects.

Joss Whedon hints at what brings Cap off of his mission at the end of Winter Soldier to the events of Age of Ultron.

The Russo brothers hint at what brings Cap back for his third solo movie.

And James Gunn talks about who will be in the next Guardians movie (and who possibly won’t be).

On the small screen, casting announcements for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. don’t seem to be slowing down.

Simon Kassianides (Quantum of Solace) has been cast as, Bakshi, “a confident right-hand man who’s not afraid to do the dirty work.” I’m not sure what that means, but he is also a “major, reoccurring character” so we should be seeing a lot of him.

Henry Simmons is also joining Coulson’s team as Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie, who is a mechanic.

Kyle MacLachlan rounds out the new cast in the mysterious role of Skye’s father. We don’t know much about his character, except what we saw in last season’s finale episode.

In the world of the comics, Disney Kingdoms released their first trade collection, Seekers of the Weird, this week.

And in the theme parks, runDisney revealed images of the Avengers Half Marathon medals. In a related note, I may actually consider running a half marathon soon.

Disney Parks also announced that Baymax and Hiro from the latest Disney Animated movie, Big Hero 6, will be in the parks this Fall to meet and greet with guests. While this is technically about a Disney animated film based on a Marvel property, I will celebrate any opportunity to get Marvel characters in the parks, especially in Florida.
