Musicians will tell you that the mark of a good song is one that can be reinterpreted in another style and still hold a listener’s interest. To prove that point, Scott Bradlee and the PostModern Jukebox has reinterpreted several classic cartoon themes into the style of a 90s R&B slow jam.

Slightly jazzy, slightly groovy, among the themes reinvented are Disney’s “Duck Tales,” “Darkwing Duck,” and “Chip & Dale’s Rescue Rangers,” along with “The Muppet Babies” theme.

Take a listen to this playlist and let us know what you think of these versions:

Which one was your favorite? I’m liking the “Darkwing Duck” groove.
