New Key Image Concept Art for Fantasyland Expansion

Walt Disney World has released three new images that capture the vision of the Fantasyland Expansion that has already begun to open at the Magic Kingdom. The first image is a new view of the whole land as it will look as it is finished.

The most significant difference from the previous version of the whole land artwork is that there is no longer an ‘Midway’ style marquee entry to Storybook Circus / Carolwood Park section. This new concept art is also a lot softer focus with a much more forestry look for New Fantasyland.

The other two images capture a much more artistic, painterly, vision of Maurice’s Cottage and Prince Eric’s Castle, with the Belle and Ariel present as they would be if this was a natural setting.

Nothing was revealed, but I love how these ‘signature images’ feel. How about you?

Don’t forget, you can make reservations for dinner at “Be Our Guest” restaurant starting tomorrow morning at 7AM EST. Previews of New Fantasyland will start November 19th, although I hear some some sections could be opening sooner for soft openings.
