Holidayland, Disneyland’s Forgotten Land

We all know the rule, no alcohol is served at Disneyland (or the Magic Kingdom for that matter). But did you know that it wasn’t always the case. A special land set up outside the berm would allow guests to have a meal and a beer or two and then return to the park via a special private entrance. It’s true.

Holidayland, actually had a number of incarnations. From the famed failed Mickey Mouse Circus tent through a post EPCOT International Gateway, the Disney History Institute will take you through all of them as they search for photos of this least understood land at the park.
