Videopolis – 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea (Opening Titles)

When Russian college student Maximov was assigned to recreate movie title sequence, he broke out his Canon 5D markII and After Effects and got to work. The product is this amazing re-imagining of the opening titles for Walt Disney’s 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.

Pretty cool, eh? I definitely thought that was worthy of being in the Videopolis gallery, even if it’s a bit outside the usual domain of the category. I know there was a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea reboot project rattling around at the Walt Disney Studios. If that ever gets off the ground, someone should look this kid up.
