Videopolis: Down to Earth (From Wall-E) by U of M Amazin’ Blue

The University of Michigan’s a capella group Amazin’ Blue put on their blue face and performed a terrific rendition of Peter Gabrial’s “Down To Earth” from the Wall-E Soundtrack. That’s a little more Blue Man Group than Pixar, but I’m not complaining. As always, nominate… Read More »Videopolis: Down to Earth (From Wall-E) by U of M Amazin’ Blue

Here’s a recording of the same arrangement without the audience interruptions, but I think they have more energy on stage. Have your own… Read More »Videopolis – My A Capella Disney Medley

Videopolis – The Bare Necessities

Apparently there is a whole sub-genre of the beatbox musical performance -the flute beatbox. Here’s a gentleman playing “The Bare Necessities” from Disney’s The Jungle Book in Flute Beatbox style. Be careful, once you hear this you can never un-hear it.

Videopolis – “You Can Fly” by Rendezvous Quartet

I’m toying around with a new series of posts, or potentially even a separate blog, focused on the influence of Disney in online video as created by fans and artists. There’s a wealth of great, and some not so great, creations on Youtube and Vimeo… Read More »Videopolis – “You Can Fly” by Rendezvous Quartet
