Once again, they are throwing two brand new dances into the mix. This week, we’ve got the Lindy Hop and the Argentine Tango. This should challenge not only the stars but the professionals. Plus they can do lifts. I know I’ll really enjoy the Lindy Hop since it’s another high energy swing type dance, and you know how much I love those. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.Read More »Dancing with the Stars 8-4: Argentine Tango and Lindy Hop
So, I’m still curious to see how the dance off will be changing things if at all. I really wish they’d tell us how close the couples who were saved were so we had some idea how the fans are voting. Oh, I know why they will never do it – potential manipulation. They never told us before, for that matter. But the numbers geek in me still wants to know.

Either way, all 12 stars are here, so we’ve got a full night ahead of us.
So, I am back from Palm Springs. Great weekend, but now it’s back to Dancing. And from the little bits I’ve heard, sounds like we are in for a wild ride. This may be a bit shorter than normal just because I have lots to get in before I got back to work tomorrow.Read More »Dancing with the Stars – 8.2 Dancing and Elimination
Tonight kicks off season eight of Dancing with the Stars. Even before one second has aired live, the show was making entertainment headlines. As John reported last week, Jewel and Nancy O’Dell had to drop out due to serious injuries. Of course, we wish them well. Replacements were brought in, but they only had days to rehearse. That’s going to make this first week rough for them. Furthermore, we don’t even know who they are. I’m quite curious to learn who they will be myself. So let’s get started.
I see we have a slightly redesigned staircase and band area. Looks nice.Read More »Dancing with the Stars Season 8 Finally Begins
