from Instagram: Walt Disney World might be known as a people trap run by a mouse, but it also has a famous cat in residence. Cat Cora, celebrity chef, took over the culinary direction of Kouzzina a few years ago. I’ve heard good things about… Read More »Instapic: Cat Cora’s Kouzzina for Breakfast
Could Brussels Sprouts have been given a bad rap all these years just because they were usually prepared wrong? This video from chef Dee Foundoukis at Kouzzina by Cat Cora wants to convince you to give them another try. I think that is a lovely… Read More »Cooking Brussels Sprouts the Kouzzina by Cat Cora Way
There are now two new episodes of “The Muppets Kitchen with Cat Cora” on Disney.com. The latest episodes released include “World’s Biggest Sandwich” and “Breakfast Isn’t Just for Breakfast Anymore.” I have to say that Cora’s acting leaves a bit to be desired (she sometimes… Read More »New Muppets Kitchen Videos with Cat Cora
We saw the teaser trailer for Cat Cora and the Muppets new web series last week. Turns out it wasn’t for The Disney Channel, but rather for Disney Online and DisneyFamily.com. “Muppets Kitchen” and “Hasty Tasty” both aim to help families rediscover together time through cooking.
Disney Online, part of the Disney Interactive Media Group, launched two new original video series today featuring The Muppets and celebrity chef Cat Cora. “The Muppets Kitchen with Cat Cora” on Disney.com (www.Disney.com/MuppetsKitchen) inspires and entertains families through cooking and classic Muppet comedy, while “Hasty Tasty Cooking Tips with Cat Cora and the Muppets” on Disney Family.com (www.Family.com/HastyTasty) was created specifically for moms, offering recipes, step-by-step cooking tips and fun family-time ideas. “Muppets Kitchen” and “Hasty Tasty” are exclusively sponsored by the all-new Honda Odyssey and the National Milk Mustache “got milk?”® Campaign.
Was just sent a teaser trailer for the new Muppets Kitchen with Cat Cora segment coming to The Disney Channel. I’m intrigued. I’m hoping there’s some Swedish Chef action too. I’m thinking Iron Chef battle spoof.
When you visit Walt Disney World Resort one of the many treats that Disney wants you to experience is their fine dining. They believe that if you enjoy your dining experience, you’ll be much more likely to return for another visit and to tell your… Read More »Kouzzina Chefs and Cat Cora cook for President Obama
Time to close a bunch of open tabs again and pass along some of the latest Disney news and links.
Is an IMAX Theater coming to Downtown Disney’s Pleasure Island 24 movie multiplex? According to the AMC website there is. Click on the ‘coming soon’ button at the bottom of this page. Alas, the date is TBD. The current thought is that it would either be expanded into the parking lot or into the space of the Virgin Megastore that’s closing soon. Of course an Apple Store and ESPN Zone have also been rumored for that space.
It’s not Halloween, but FoxxFur has the spooky tale of George, the ghost who inhabits the Magic Kingdom’s Pirates Of The Caribbean Attraction.
Six Flags isn’t the only theme park company facing debt restructuring issues right now. The Orlando Sentinel has the details on Universal Orlando’s problems. They’re looking at having to pay down $1.5 billion if they can’t get everything in line. That could mean in park cutbacks or even being forced to sell some properties.
Iron Chef Cat Cora, who will soon be opening a new restaurant at Walt Disney World, welcomed a new baby to the family last week. Cat’s wife, Jennifer, gave birth to a son. Cat is also pregnant and expecting this July.
Time to add another band to the banned list from Disneyland’s Downtown Disney House of Blues. The hardcore heavy metal band Daath was kicked for inappropriate content, no chance of appeal. I think Disney’s actually more concerned with keeping the peace at its open air mall than inappropriate content on stage.
A couple of Disney blogs to add to your list if you haven’t already. DisneyShawn smartly reveals the details and backstory behind Disney World’s theme parks. Meanwhile TouringPlans.com, the website of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, has started a blog as well.
Finally, I’d like to introduce you to the Disney Fan Review video podcast. It’s a new series that looks at the creative efforts of Disney fans across youtube. Sort of like a TV station for Disney fans. I’ve embedded one of his recent episodes below the cut:
Disney has confirmed the latest rumor that they and Iron Chef Cat Cora are joining together to open a new family dining restaurant at Disney’s BoardWalk.
