Pop Century Recipes

After highlighting the Tie-Dye Cheesecake from Pop Century, Slashfood got tons of requests for the recipe. Unable to find one online, they’ve arrived at a simple way to recreate it from mostly off-the-shelf products. Here’s another Copy-Cat Recipe for the Tie-Dye Cheesecake. I also found this one for Twinkie Tiramisu at the AllEarsNet Disney Recipe… Read More »Pop Century Recipes

Walt Disney World Maps

  • by

Mike Scott has started to mark up the Google Satellite Images of the Walt Disney World Resort with various highlights and other map features. Unfortunately we still don’t have detailed maps of a large portion of the property that includes Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios. But Mike’s done a great job with what he’s got.

Cirque Influence Growing

There’s a rather interesting article in the Orlando Sentinel that talks with producers at SeaWorld Orlando about the influence they feel Montreal Canada’s Circque De Soliel is having on the themed entertainment business. Video of The Week

The Video of the Week is a cute little promotional video the Muppets did back a few years ago. It’s a funny take on other muppets screen tests for the part of Yoda in the next Star Wars film. YouTube is a blast for finding these sorts of things.

Pop Food at Pop Century

  • by

SlashFood, one of my favorite foodie reads, has a look at some of the ‘pop’ foods at Disney World’s Pop Century food court. Pop Century is located just off the I-4, so you don’t have to be staying there to enjoy these offerings. I like the cheesecake, but I can’t resist ordering the Sloppy Joe… Read More »Pop Food at Pop Century

Stock Holder Meeting Roundup

  • by

The annual stock holder meeting was held on Friday at The Pond in Anaheim this year. It was nice to see that they handed out one-day passes to Disneyland to attendees, a tradition they had dropped in recent years. This year the theme was ‘no news is good news’. With no major controversy brewing (well… Read More »Stock Holder Meeting Roundup

John Lasseter

  • by

I missed this one in USA Today a few days ago, but it’s a good read on John Lasseter and worth checking out if you missed it too. John Lasseter is a hugger, not a handshaker. The whimsical whiz behind Pixar, the premier maker of computer-animated family films, greets his guest with outstretched arms and… Read More »John Lasseter
