Tickets went on sale earlier this week for Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025, and now the first four celebrity guests have been revealed.
The Guests
The “Star Wars” universe has a wealth of potential guests to invite to the biggest “Star Wars” event of 2025, and these four are the first to be named:
“Star Wars” icon Anthony Daniels, the only actor to work on all 11 “Star Wars” feature films, will make an appearance. Daniels notably portrayed etiquette and protocol droid C-3PO in all three Skywalker saga trilogies.
Also from live action film and TV, Temuera Morrison will be there. Morrison first played Jango Fett and his army of clones in “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones,” and has more recently brought Boba Fett back from the (presumed) dead on “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett.”
Lucasfilm’s own Doug Chiang, an Academy Award-winning artist who also serves as senior vice president and executive design director, will be there, too. Recently, Chiang has served as production designer on several Star Wars live-action series, including “The Mandalorian,” “Ahsoka,” and the soon-to-be-released “Skeleton Crew,” starring Jude Law.
And from animation, Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” “Star Wars Rebels,” and “Tales of the Jedi,” will appear. Eckstein is also the creator of Her Universe, which offers up official “Star Wars”-themed clothing.
The Details
Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 will be held April 18-20, 2025, at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan.
Tickets went on sale Thursday, May 2, at 4pm PST / 7pm EST, and Friday, May 3, at 8am JST. As of this post, single day tickets are still available for all three days, along with special merchandise, at StarWarsCelebration.com.
The event will also welcome back Official Pix as the autograph provider for the show.
Does anyone know if the Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 merchandise will be available for purchase here in the States? The key art is impressive! Would love to have a t-shirt with that artwork! Thanks!
Hi Tracy! I don’t think so. I think it’s only available via the ticket link above, and at the event itself next year. You could email [email protected] and ask them since they are running the tickets and merchandising for SWCelebration Japan.
Thank you Michelle. Appreciate your reply.
