“Under the Bridge,” a limited series based on a book of a true crime, starring Oscar-nominee Lily Gladstone and Emmy-nominee Riley Keough, will debut on Hulu Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
The Story
The series is based on author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true story of 14-year old Reena Virk, who went to join friends at a party and never returned home.
Through the eyes of Godfrey (Keough), and a local police officer (Gladstone), the series takes the viewer into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder,revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.
The cast also includes Archie Panjabi, Vritika Gupta, Chloe Guidry, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Izzy G., Aiyana Goodfellow, and Ezra Faroque Khan.
The series was adapted for screen by Quinn Shephard, and is executive produced by Samir Mehta, Liz Tigelaar, and Stacey Silverman (“Best Day Ever”), Shephard, Godfrey and Tara Duncan. Keough will also executive produce with Gina Gammell (“Felix Culpa”). Geeta Vasant Patel will direct the pilot.
The series is produced by ABC Signature.
How to Watch
“Under the Bridge” will debut on Hulu on April 17th with the first two episodes available to stream. The remaining six episodes will debut weekly on subsequent Wednesdays.
