Lucasfilm has just announced that tickets for the “The Phantom Menace” 25th Anniversary theater return and a new “Skywalker Saga Marathon” event for “Star Wars Day” go on sale on Friday, Marach 22, 2024
“The Phantom Menace” 25th Anniversary
Tickets for the 25th anniversary theatrical re-release of “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace” will go on sale Friday, March 22, at 9am PT / 12pm ET at participating theaters, or at Fandango.com.
The film will be accompanied by an exclusive look at “The Acolyte,” the upcoming Disney+ series, as part of anniversary screenings.
“The Phantom Menace,” Episode I of the “Star Wars” saga and the first film in the prequel trilogy, originally arrived in cinemas on May 19, 1999.
As we mentioned earlier this year, the movie returns to cinemas starting May 3, 2024.
Skywalker Saga Marathon
Lucasfilm has announced that as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace,” fans will also have the chance to experience the entire Skywalker Saga in theaters this May the 4th, also known as “Star Wars Day.”
This includes all nine of the main films in chronological order:
- “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace”
- “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones”
- “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith”
- “Star Wars: A New Hope”
- “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back”
- “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi”
- “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”
- “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”
- “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”
The marathon will also include the exclusive look at “The Acolyte,” the upcoming Disney+ series, and a special limited edition poster.
