Hulu’s “Only Murders In The Building” continues to assemble an all-star Season 4 cast, with Emmy winner Eugene Levy and Eva Longoria the most recent additions, plus we’ve got photo proof the cast is back at work.
The Castings
In his first TV acting role since “Schitt’s Creek,” Eugene Levy is set to recur in Season Four, though no details have been released about his character.
Levy grew up in the same Canadian hometown as series star Martin Short, both got their start on SCTV, and the two have collaborated on multiple occasions. Levy also did cameos alongside both Steve Martin and Short in the “Father of the Bride” movies.
Currently, Levy serves as host and executive producer of Apple TV+’s “The Reluctant Traveler,” which starts its second season March 8.
Eva Longoria will also appear in Season Four in a recurring role, but again, no details have been given about the character.
Longoria got her big break on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” but this last year found her making her directorial debut with the Searchlight Picture/Hulu move, “Flamin’ Hot,” which is nominated for an Oscar for Best Song.
In addition to “Only Murders In the Building,” the actress will next appear in the new Apple TV+ series “Land of Women,” the Disney remake of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” and she will co-produce the Disney+ series, “Paola Santiago and the River of Tears.”
On the Set
Production is already underway on the fourth season of “Only Murders in the Building,” and to prove it, the show has released some snapshots of its headlining trio of Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short, on what appears to be a chilly set, to its Instagram:
The Next Season
Season Four finds our amateur investigators Charles-Haden (Martin), Oliver (Short), and Mabel (Gomez), on a trip to Los Angeles, before returning to The Arconia in their search of Sazz’s (Jane Lynch) killer.
Also confirmed to appear in Season Four are Meryl Streep, reprising her Season Three character of Loretta Durkin, and newcomer Molly Shannon, who will be a recurring character.
There is currently no date for the return of “Only Murders In the Building,” but when we hear of one, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, revisit the first three seasons on Hulu.
