2025 Walt Disney World bookings just opened on February 27th, and now we’ve learned ticket prices will be increasing next year.
The Details
Looking at 2025 single day tickets, some of the lowest single-day, single-park ticket prices have gone up by $10. For example, some late-August weekday tickets at Disney’s Animal Kingdom have gone from $109 for 2024 tickets to $119 for 2025.
Other single-day tickets for different parks are also showing increases over many 2024 prices, averaging a $5 to $10 increase depending on the season.
For example, on a Saturday in late April when demand is high, prices start at $169 at Animal Kingdom in 2025, up from $164. Magic Kingdom also rose by $5, from $184 to $189 on that same weekend day in late April.
Ticket prices for November and December 2025 were not yet available to compare, but the holidays are another peak season on the calendar so I imagine prices will be similar to April.
Prices on the Park Hopper options have also gone up by about $5 to $10 for many dates in 2025.
The last ticket price increase at Walt Disney World occurred in December 2022.
New Perk
Earlier this week, Walt Disney World announced it would be including a new perk for 2025 bookings, where each person on the reservation would get a free day at either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park on their check-in day.
Maybe they think that makes up for the ticket price increase?
