The Forbes Travel Guide has issued another Five-Star Rating for Victoria & Albert’s restaurant at Walt Disney World, the only Florida restaurant to acheive this coveted rating for 2024.
The Details
Victoria & Albert’s is one of the jewels of Disney dining, a fact the Forbes reviewers noted, saying, “There is no shortage of upscale dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resorts, but when it comes to personalized service, theatricality and sheer luxury — both in the room and on the plate — Victoria & Albert’s reigns supreme.”
Of the food, their review states: “Aimée Rivera came to executive chef Scott Hunnel’s kitchen in 2002, and as chef de cuisine continues to search for the best local and global flavors. The modern menu features Florida ingredients such as corn, crayfish and oysters alongside white truffles from Italy, octopus and Iberico ham from Spain, Miyazaki beef from Japan and caviars from all over the world.”
They also noted the restaurant goes above and beyond just providing an amazing meal, saying, “Unforgettable extras include live music from a harpist, an upholstered footstool to hold each woman’s purse (as well as a pashmina to match her outfit, should she become chilly), different breads and butters between courses, a choice of treats from the resident chocolatier served in a customized wooden box and a personalized menu to take home.”

It is sometimes challenging to get a reservation, as the restaurant only has seating for 50 and hosts one serving per evening, but reservations can be made online or by phone at 407-939-3862 between 10am and 4pm ET.
The Restaurant
Victoria & Albert’s first opened at Disney’s Grand Floridian resort in 1988, and remained open until the pandemic closure in 2020.
The restaurant remained closed after Walt Disney World reopened, and it received a complete renovation.
When it reopened on July 28, 2022, the newly reimagined main dining room featured a Victorian-styled setting with murals and wall coverings that showcased a timeless elegance.
The restaurant also has two new Chef’s tasting menus in the main room, plus separate offerings in the private Queen Victoria’s Room or the coveted Chef’s Table with a front-row seat to the culinary masterminds at work.
If you get a reservation, plan to spend at least three hours dining.
