“Only Murders In The Building” is welcoming back guest star Meryl Streep for season four, which will be heading west for a while, along with gaining Molly Shannon in a recurring role for a season-long arc.

At the recent Television Critics Association winter press tour, Disney Television Group President Craig Erwich revealed the “Only Murders In the Building” main trio of Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) will kick off the new season with a trip to Los Angeles
They will then return to The Arconia to continue their search of Saz’s (Jane Lynch) killer.
A multiple Oscar winner, Streep will return in the role of Loretta Durkin, the love interest of Oliver in season 3. She was nominated for an Emmy for the role.
According to TVLine, Shannon’s role is a “high-powered Los Angeles business woman who finds herself drawn into the world of the investigation in New York.”
A three-time Emmy nominee, she is best known for her six seasons on “Saturday Night Live,” and most recently appeared on season one of HBO’s “White Lotus.”
There is currently no date for the return of “Only Murders In the Building,” but when we hear of one, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, revisit the first three seasons on Hulu.
