The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando-Disney Springs Area has completed a multi-million-dollar renovation to its 236 all-suite property located on Hotel Plaza Blvd in Lake Buena Vista, and here’s what you need to know.
The Details
The refurbishment, led by POK Construction, SCNZ Architects, and Studio Partnership Interior Design, includes updates to all aspects of the hotel including the spacious accommodations, the Evergreen Café, Lounge, Pool Bar, DoubleTree’s signature Made Market, a grab-and-go style market, pool, splash pad, tennis court, fitness center, and sophisticated meeting spaces.
The hotel offers newly renovated, spacious suites featuring a living area with a sofa bed, dining area, separate bedroom, and a sliding barn door for privacy. In addition, guests can enjoy all the comforts of home with amenities including a microwave, refrigerator, Wi-Fi access, LCD HDTVs, in-room safe, and a modern bathroom.
According to the hotel, it offers Confirmed Connecting Rooms, subject to availability. It also has several accessible suites, but I haven’t had a chance to check out the offerings.
The new color palette features neutrals accented by cool shades of blues, crisp whites, and dark wood tones throughout the hotel.
Texture provides the base backdrop of visual interest including limestone and coral as the primary architectural materials. Rope accents seamlessly border areas as a reference to Florida’s plentiful waterways and relaxed beach lifestyle.
One thing that hasn’t changed? Guests still receive the signature warm DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie at check-in, a hallmark of the DoubleTree brand’s warm and hospitable service.
