The Walt Disney Company Garners 50 People’s Choice Awards Nominations

The nominations for this year’s People’s Choice Awards are out, and The Walt Disney Company via its various brands have garnered 50 total nominations across 45 categories.

The award show recognizes the public’s favorite movies, TV, music and general pop culture during calendar year 2023.

On the film side, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” leads with four nominations, followed by Walt Disney Pictures’ “The Little Mermaid” with three, and Marvel’s “The Marvels” with two.

Hulu/20th Television’s “Only Murders in the Building” leads in the television categories with seven nods, followed by FX/Hulu’s “The Bear” with five, and ABC/20th Television’s “Abbott Elementary,” Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” and ABC’s “American Idol” with three each.

The show, hosted by Marvel star Simi Liu, will air live on February 18, 2024, on NBC and E! from 8-10pm ET/5-7pm PT, and it will also stream on Peacock.

Voting across all 45 categories is open to the public until Friday, January 19, 2024 at VotePCA.com. Must be 18+ to vote, and you can vote daily.
