Marvel Studios’ next series, “Echo,” was originally scheduled to debut on Disney+ and Hulu on January 10, 2024, but this weekend, it was given a new date.
The Date
All 5 episodes of “Echo” will now drop at once on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 6pm PT/9pm ET, making perfect for a binge night.
As previously announced, the series will also drop all episodes on Hulu at the same date/time as Disney+. The series will be available for Hulu subscribers to watch until April 9, 2024.
Finally, the series will mark Marvel’s first TV-MA rating for a show on Disney+, so you may need to adjust your Disney+ profile to watch it.
The Show
Audiences first met Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), aka Echo, in “Hawkeye,” along with Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), aka Kingpin, in the “Hawkeye” series.
In “Echo,” she is being pursued by Kingpin’s criminal empire. When the journey brings her home, she must confront her own family and legacy. Her nickname comes from the fact that she can can perfectly replicate another person’s moves.
The character of Echo is both Marvel’s first Native American lead and first deaf lead character in a Marvel series.
“Echo” also stars Chaske Spencer, Graham Greene, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Zahn McClarnon, and Cody Lightning. There is a rumor that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will cameo, as well.
