Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has released a first look at the The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort – A Disney Vacation Club Resort, and we have it for you.
The Cabins
The new cabins actually look more like tiny homes than the previous cabins, though the actual cabin may look a bit different than these artist renderings.
The cabins will still sleep six to a cabin, but the configuration is different.
The bedroom includes aqueen bed and twin bunk beds adjacent, which sleeps four, with an additional two sleepers fitting on the queen pull-down sofa bed in the main room.
Both rooms have TVs – a 65-inch in the main room and a 55-inch in the bedroom.
There is a full kitchen which includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, convection/microwave oven, & two countertop burners…though the artist rendering shows a full stove and oven so we’ll see what ends up being put in. There is also a dining area in the kitchen.
Off the kitchen you’ll find a vanity area outside the entrance to the bathroom, which has a shower and an additional vanity inside.
Outside, there is a patio deck with individual grill for guest use.
Opening Soon
DVC says The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are projected to open in stages starting in Summer 2024, and a limited number of dog-friendly cabins will also be available.
