The 29th annual Critics Choice Awards are so huge that they divvy up announcing the Film and TV categories, and Disney-backed series received 40 nominations in the 20 TV categories announced this week (one more nomination than last year).

Abbott Elementary” (ABC), “The Bear” (FX), “Loki” (Disney+), “A Small Light” (National Geographic), and the cancelled “Reservation Dogs” (FX) lead with four nominations each.

What We Do In The Shadows” (FX) received 3 nominations, while “Only Murders In The Building” (Hulu), “Justified: City Primeval” (FX), and “No One Will Save You” (Hulu) received 2 each.

Chelsea Handler will host the Critics Choice Awards gala on Sunday, January 14, 2024. It will air live from 7-10pm in the East on The CW network, and tape delayed on the network in the West.
