Walt Disney World has announced the return of its first festival of the year, EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, including dates and what you need to know if you’re planning to go.
The Dates
The 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts returns to the park January 12 through February 19, 2024, to celebrate the arts: visual, performing, and culinary.
Performing Arts
The DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series returns to EPCOT’s American Pavilion with three daily shows of songs from many of your favorite Disney shows throughout the festival.
The performers are veterans of Disney’s many Broadway shows, and new this year, two singers from Disney’s “Frozen” will join the line-up.
Here is the line-up:
- Caissie Levy and Patti Murin (“Frozen”): Jan. 12, 14, 15, 18, 20, 22, 23
- Heidi Blickenstaff (“Freaky Friday” and “The Little Mermaid”) and Gavin Lee (“Mary Poppins” and “Beauty and the Beast”): Jan. 13, 16, 17, 19, 21, 24
- Ashley Brown (“Mary Poppins” and “Beauty and the Beast”) and L. Steven Taylor (“The Lion King”): Jan. 26, 28 and 29; Feb. 1, 3, 5 and 6

- Bradley Gibson (“Hercules” and “The Lion King”) and Shoba Narayan (“Aladdin”): Feb. 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19 *
Seats for performances are free, but the best way to guarantee a seat is to purchase a DISNEY ON BROADWAY Dining Package, which includes a reserved seat and a meal at one of eight EPCOT restaurants.
Reservations for the dining packages open December 19, 2023, and we’ll have all the details on them before that date.
Culinary Arts
It’s not an EPCOT festival without the food, and guests will be able to enjoy culinary creations at more than 15 Food Studios throughout the park during this festival.
Menus will be announced soon, but returning favorites will include The Rainbow Cake with freeze-dried SKITTLES® bite-sized candies at Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food and Little Sparks of Magic, and the Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib with parsnip puree, broccolini, baby tomatoes and balsamic glaze at Pastoral Palate.
The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine offers a culinary scavenger hunt throughout the Food Studios. Once you’ve collected five stamps for purchasing your choices of the required dishes, bring your passport to Deco Delights Food Studio to receive a complimentary surprise.
Visual Arts
The Festival offers many artistic displays that are pleasing to the eye, several of them that are interactive.
At Animation Academy, held daily at 12:30pm and 1:30pm in America Gardens Theatre, learn drawing skills from some of the best in the business as they teach you how to draw a Disney character.
At the Expression Section: A Paint by Numbers Mural, join fellow artists to leave your creative mark on a larger-than-life wall mural.
Kid’s Chalk Art takes place on the bridge to World Showcase Plaza daily from 11am to 5pm allowing little ones to create their very own chalk masterpieces.
Disney PhotoPass photographers will have limited-time Magic Shots created for this colorful celebration.
And what would a visit to the festival be without artful photo ops that you can step into? From Botticelli to Renoir, these life-size tableaus beckon you to become part of the painting.
Merchandise and More
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts merchandise tends to be very colorful, and 2024 is no different.
And kids of all ages will want to engage in Figment’s Brush with the Master’s Scavenger Hunt. On this journey throughout World Showcase, you’ll help Figment learn all about art.
To get started, purchase your map and stickers at Creations Shop, Port of Entry, or World Traveler. Then, search for Figment hiding inside art inspired by famous works at each World Showcase pavilion—just look for the Figment-themed picture frame.
Every time you find Figment, add the corresponding sticker to the pavilion on your map. Once your journey is complete, return your map to Disney Traders or World Traveler for an artful little keepsake.
Even the gift cards are works of art, and they make it easy to visit all the Food Studios during the festival.
Admission
A valid park admission ticket or annual pass is required for admission to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
Starting with park visits on Jan. 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets.
These include date-based 1-day tickets, date-based multi-day tickets, and vacation packages with date-based tickets.
Annual passholders and all other ticket types will still need to make reservations for now.
