Now that the SAG-AFTRA strike has ended, Disney and Marvel Studios have shuffled their movie release dates for 2024-2025 again, and we have the changes.
Marvel Changes
“Deadpool 3” (pending name change) which was previously scheduled for May 3, 2024, has now been bumped to July 26, 2024.
“Captain America: Brave New World” previously scheduled for that July 26, 2024 date has been moved all the way to February 14, 2025.
The “Thunderbolts” team-up movie dated for the holidays on December 20, 2024, has been moved to a prime summer date of July 25, 2025.
And the “Blade” reboot previously scheduled for that February 14, 2025 date has been bumped to the end of the year on November 7, 2025.
Disney Changes
“Mufasa: The Lion King,” a prequel to “The Lion King” first announced at D23 Expo 2022, has had another date change from July 5, 2024 to the holiday date of December 20, 2024.
Disney has also removed two hold spots for future Disney releases, on July 25, 2025 and November 7, 2025, as those dates have been given to Marvel as noted above.
