The Disney+ series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” made its New York Comic-Con debut this month, and though no actors were present, the panel revealed first images of many of the guest actors in character.
The Panel
During the New York Comic-Con panel, author and series executive producer Rick Riordan, along with fellow executive producer Rebecca Riordan, revealed actor/character images and more.
The actors themselves couldn’t appear due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
The panel also showcased an in-depth conversation with series executive producers Jon Steinberg, Dan Shotz, and James Bobin, who also directed the first two episodes. They were joined by four members of the production team, production designer Dan Hennah, costume designer Tish Monaghan, VFX supervisor Erik Henry and ILM VFX supervisor Jeff White.
The eight-episode series launches with a two-episode premiere on December 20th on Disney+, followed by new episodes weekly.
