There has been some recent announcements of upcoming attractions, shows, and more coming to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World, and now the other shoe drops…starting today, October 11, both Disney resorts are raising prices on select admissions, and more.
Disneyland Resort
On the West Coast, 1-day theme park ticket prices at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure have increased up to 7%.
The cheapest one-day ticket (Tier 0) is still $104 per person, but now Tier 6 tickets (peak periods and holidays) have gone up from $179 per person to $194 per person. That’s right, with tax, certain days may cost over $200 to visit the parks!
Disneyland Resort last raised 1-day ticket prices a year ago in October 2022.
That’s not all…Multi-Day tickets are now 8% to almost 16% more expensive. A 2-day pass has gone up to $310 and a 5-day pass has increased the most, jumping from $415 to $480 (a 15.66% jump).
The Park Hopper add-on now ranges $65-$75 depending on length of ticket, which is up to a $10 increase.
Magic Key Pass prices have also increased. These annual passes are not available for new purchases right now, but if Disneyland decides to put them on sale again, here’s what to expect.
The Imagine pass, the least expensive, saw a $50 increase for a total of $499. The Enchant pass went from $699 to $849 and the Believe pass went from $1,099 to $1,249. The Inspire pass, the most expensive, also saw a $50 increase for a total of $1,649.
Disneyland Resort is also introducing Magic Key Extras Unlocked, which is being described as a new, easy way to discover extras and experiences that are part of the Magic Key community.
This includes a preview of a Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot, a complimentary holiday tote bag coming in November (while supplies last), and a new Magic Key popcorn bucket – with $1.75 refills for a limited time – available for purchase starting in January, also while supplies last.
Regular parking is going up $5 to $35 per car/motorcycle. Preferred parking will now be $55.
Genie+ at Disneyland Resort will also now be priced at $30/day for pre-arrival, with day-of purchase prices starting at $30/day but can vary.
Finally, not a price increase, but as of today, “Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway” joins Genie+, with “The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure” joining in November.
Walt Disney World
Over on the East Coast, single-day tickets (which last increased December 2023) are not increasing, but annual passes are.
As of today, October 11, here are the new annual pass prices for Walt Disney World:
- Incredi-Pass now costs $1,449 (up from $1,399). This is the highest tiered pass with no blockout dates,
- Sorcerer: now $999 (was $969)
- Pirate: now $799 (was $749)
- Pixie Dust: now $439 (was $399)
Parking at the parks has increased $5 for standard vehicles, as well, and is now $30 per car. Probably to pay for the return of the parking lot trams to all four parks, though in fairness, parking at Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando is already priced at $30.
Finally, it appears Memory Maker prices have also increased:
- Advance purchase: now $185 (was $169)
- Regular price (during and post-vacation): now $210 (was $199)
- One day: now $75 (was $69)
