Disney kicks off Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month on September 15, which happens to be the same day a certain not-spoken-of Madrigal Family member from “Encanto” named Bruno joins his niece at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
The Details
First we can tell you that Mirabel, from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto,” will begin meeting friends from all over the world in her magical Casita at Magic Kingdom on September 15th.
Disney says she will stay beyond the celebration, which ends on October 15, 2023.
Second, I’m here to talk about Bruno from “Encanto”…more specifically to tell you that also on September 15th, Bruno will be joining other Hispanic and Latin characters like Miguel from “Coco,” Princess Elena of Avalor, and Brazilian parrot José Carioca of “Saludos Amigos” in Magic Kingdom’s Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade.
The cavalcade currently happens at 5:10pm daily, but check the Entertainment Schedule, or the My Disney Experience app for the schedule on the day you visit.
The Celebration
At Walt Disney World, Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month will also include several “Eat to the Beat” Concert Series artists:
- Monsieur Periné – Sept. 15, 2023
- Raul Acosta and Oro Sólido – Sept. 16-17, 2023
- Bacilos – Sept. 18, 2023
- Los Amigos Invisibles – Sept. 22-24, 2023
- Latin Ambition – Sept. 27-28, 2023
And over at Disney Springs, the Disney Springs Art Walk will welcome TRATOS, a Miami-based Cuban couple, who will live paint their art this September.
