.

“Playdate with Winnie the Pooh,” and a companion show “Me & Winnie the Pooh” will debut on Disney Junior on August 18th, and here’s what you need to know about these shows aimed at preschool Disney fans.

The Show

Inspired by A.A. Milne’s world, “Playdate with Winnie The Pooh” follows a young Pooh Bear as he enjoys playdates with his friends.

Set in the exciting outdoors of the Hundred Acre Wood, these musical shorts emphasize collaborative play and the joy of spending time with others.

There will also be a companion show,”Me & Winnie the Pooh,” offering vlog-style shorts with Pooh talking directly to the camera.

Both shows will debut on Disney Junior’s YouTube channel on August 18, and will be available on the Disney Junior channel, as well as Disney+.

Disney says “Playdate with Winnie The Pooh,” which was first announced at this year’s Annecy Animation Festival, has scored a season two renewal ahead of the season one release.
