Disney’s Josh D’Amaro Visits Disneyland Paris for ‘Frozen’ Expansion Update

Disney's Josh D'Amaro Visits Disneyland Paris with Natacha Rafalski
.

Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, posted a video to his Instagram of him at Disneyland Paris talking about recent and upcoming updates to the park with DLP’s President Natacha Rafalski.

The Details

The video shows D’Amaro and Rafalski standing in an ankle deep pool of water that will eventually be a new lake that features in the design of the upcoming “Frozen” land update inside Walt Disney Studios Park.

D’Amaro mentions the park’s 30th anniversary celebrations are coming to a close, and that he had the chance to check out the refurbished Disneyland Hotel, and see the recently opened “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” show.

He then asks Rafalski to talk about the new “Frozen” transformation happening at DIsneyland Paris, and since it was a very windy day when this video was filmed, I’ve transcribed what she says.

“Hi everyone! So indeed we are standing in the middle of what will be the future lake that is part of the expansion of our Walt Disney Studios Park.

This expansion is going to double the footprint of this park, and it will make room for a beautiful immersive kingdom of Arendelle. It’s going to host an attraction, some food and beverage, merch locations, as well as a meet-and-greet with our royal princesses Anna and Elsa. So that’s very exciting.

We’re also going to be transforming the path to get here and creating this beautiful promenade with lovely gardens based on our Disney stories.

There is also going to be a really beautiful table service restaurant that is going to have breathtaking views over the lake and our kingdom of Arendelle.”
