Winners for the 39th annual Television Critics Association (TCA) Awards were announced on August 7, 2023, and Disney branded shows received four awards.
The TCA is one of the largest organizations for television critics and journalists in North America, and they sponsor twice yearly showcases for the networks and streamers to showcase their upcoming new and returning series.
Out of twelve categories, Disney branded shows had 30 nominations total this year, and ended up winning four of the categories.
“The Bear” on FX on Hulu took two awards, while Marvel Studios’ “Ms. Marvel” and Australia’s “Bluey” each took home one award for Disney+. Congratulations to these great shows on their wins!
