Disney Springs in August 2023 has new monthly flavors, new foodie events, news of a new restaurant in the works, and the end of the annual “Flavors of Florida” promotion (August 13th is the last day).

Cilantro Urban Eatery
The Cilantro Urban Eatery food truck is back at Walt Disney World on a daily basis this month, serving up a Puerto Rican menu of deliciousness. It is open 5pm-10pm Monday through Thursday, 3pm to 10:30pm Fridays, noon to 10:30pm Saturdays, and noon to 10pm on Sundays.
Earl of Sandwich
Those who like it hot will want to try the new limited time Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It features oven-fried chicken, Nashville hot sauce, sweet pickles, and coleslaw.
The Edison
The Mixology Sunset Dinner Series returns on August 24 and 31, featuring an elevated three-course menu and craft cocktail pairings centered on the WhistlePig brand of spirits.
There are two seatings to choose from each date — a dinner in The Edison’s elegant Gothic dining room at 5:30pm, and at 8pm on The Edison’s Lake Side Patio.
Cost is $90 per person (+ tax/gratuity). All guests must be 21 or older. Menus and tickets at the link above.
EET by Maneet Chauhan
James Beard Award-winning chef, “Chopped” judge, and Food Network personality Maneet Chauhan and her husband, Vivek Deora, are opening a new Indian restaurant in Disney Springs later this year called EET by Maneet Chauhan. Reportedly it is expected to move into the space previously occupied by Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace.
Enzo’s Hideaway
Enzo’s Hideaway has summertime on tap with three new cooling cocktails:
- Dawn In Milan – Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Campari transport you to Italy with refreshing citrus and sweet agave.
- Il Tramanto – Espolòn Tequila and butterfly pea vodka, plus sweet peach and citrus fruits.
- Summer Dream – Flowery St-Germain, butterfly pea gin, sweet honey, and lemon, and topped with bubbly.
Order each separately or taste all three with the Bel Tempo flight.
Gideon’s Bakehouse
Gideon’s Bakehouse is a must-stop for a Disney Springs foodie, and here are the special flavors to enjoy in August:
- Peanut Butter Cold Brew Cookie: This is a Peanut Butter Cookie laced with Freshly Ground Decaf Espresso, and fully covered in chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Reese’s Pieces. Limit 2 per person.
- “Flavors of Florida” Key Lime Chocolate Chip Cookie: Vanilla bean cookie dough infused with Florida Key lime juice and blanketed with premium chocolate chips and special Key lime pie crumbs. Limit 2 per person.
- “Flavors of Florida” Orange Mocha Nitro Cold Brew: Dessert coffee made with locally roasted beans, maple syrup, rich dark chocolate, and delicious Florida oranges.
Also due to guest requests, Gideon’s now offers 16 and 24oz size options for all your favorite Nitro Cold Brews.
Jaleo
Flamenco Fridays have been extended into August, featuring live performances from talented flamenco dancers during dinner service. Beginning at 7:30pm on every Friday, guests can enjoy delicious Spanish tapas or shareable pans of paella while watching this mesmerizing art form. Reservations recommended.
Sprinkles
The bakery is offering several limited cupcake flavors throughout August 2023 for a Disney Springs foodie. Here are some of the flavors:
- Through August 6: Avocados From Mexico® Chocolate Dulce De Leche – This pecan-studded banana cupcake is filled with a dulce de leche core and finished with a zesty dark chocolate avocado cream cheese frosting.
- August 14-27: Matcha Yuzu – This matcha cake is filled with a marshmallow cream core and frosted with a yuzu citrus buttercream.
- August 21-27: Banana Split – This is a banana cake filled with marshmallow and topped with a strawberry frosting, then dipped in ganache and finished with crushed peanuts and a maraschino cherry.
- August 26 only: I am Fierce Red Velvet – In celebration of Women’s Equality Day, Sprinkles is baking up a classic southern style light chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and topping it with a special I am Fierce decoration.
- August 28-September 3: German Chocolate – This is a light chocolate cake topped with fresh coconut and crunchy pecans laced with gooey caramel.
