Disney has shared a first look at Princess Tiana’s new Bayou-inspired costume at this weekend’s Essence Fest that will be featured in the upcoming “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” attraction.
The Look
Earlier this year, Disney shared a conceptual art image of Tiana in her Bayou outfit for the attraction:
And now we can see the finished look on Tiana herself, revealed during Essence Fest. Check out those details:
Disney has also shared a fun TikTok video of Tiana doing her best Wonder Woman spin and changing into her new look:
The Location
Essence Fest has a history with “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure,” as the name of the attraction was first announced in July 2022 at the event, which Disney is once again sponsoring.
New Orleans, where the Essence Fest is held, also plays a big part in Tiana’s story, and Disney Imagineers have made many research trips to the city to get the feel of the location just right.
“Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” is scheduled to open at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort in 2024.
Hulu is also the official livestream partner for this year’s festival.
