Disneyland Resort Refurbishment in July 2023
.

There are three major attractions at Disneyland Resort that will be closing in July 2023 for scheduled refurbishment: “Toy Story Mania,” “Alice In Wonderland,” and “Soarin’ Around the World,” as well as the Disneyland Monorail, and we have the details on each.

Disneyland Monorail

The Disneyland monorail, which transports passengers to and from the park, will close on July 5 for another 2023 refurbishment.

So you’ll actually have to walk to the main ticket gates if you want to enter Disneyland Park.

Currently the Monorail has no reopen date listed, and the onsite calendar has no times listed through August 10, which is the last date listed on the calendar.

We’ll let you know when we hear of a reopening date.

Soarin’ Around the World

This airborne hang-gliding flight attraction in Disney California Adventure will close for refurbishment on July 5.

The good news is according to the onsite calendar, “Soarin’ Around the World” will reopen to guests on July 15, so it’s a short closure.

Toy Story Mania

The popular 4D midway-style game starring Toy Story characters inside Disney California Adventure will close for its refurbishment on July 17.

Unfortunately, like the Monorail, “Toy Story Mania” has no reopen date listed, and the onsite calendar has no times listed through August 10, which is the last date listed on the calendar.

We’ll also let you know when we hear of a reopening date for this attraction.

Doing extended refurbishments during the peak summer travel period can inconvenience guests, but there are plenty of other attractions in Disney California Adventure.

Not to mention San Fransokyo Square will be opening in the next few weeks.

Alice In Wonderland

This attraction closed briefly in June 2023 for work on its building, which it shares with two other attractions.

But “Alice In Wonderland” will be closing again on July 5 for a ride specific refurbishment. It is scheduled to reopen on July 20, so it won’t be down too long.
