The new reboot of “Haunted Mansion” is due in theaters July 28, and Disney is taking fans behind the scenes with a new featurette titled “Welcome Foolish Mortals!”

The under-2 minute video features interviews with the cast and director Justin Simien talking about the story as clips of both the movie and the filming of the movie are interspersed.

The Film
Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, this new version of “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman (Rosario Dawson) and her son (Chase W. Dillon) who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts (Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, LaKeith Stanfield and Tiffany Haddish) to help rid their New Orleans home of supernatural squatters.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Simien, from a script by Kate Dippold, the film features an all-star ensemble cast that also includes Dan Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota, and Jared Leto as The Hatbox Ghost.
“Haunted Mansion” will be in theaters on July 28, 2023.
