Disney Parks is celebrating the release of “The Little Mermaid” this weekend with tasty treats and limited-time photo ops available at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
Disneyland Resort Treats
Guests can find the new Purple Pineapple Shell Macaron, a purple macaron filled with blue pineapple buttercream and a chocolate pearl at Edelweiss Snacks in Fantasyland inside Disneyland Park.
And if you find yourself in Disney California Adventure, head to the Cappuccino Cart at Pacific Wharf for the Mermaid Strawberry Cake.
Both are available through May 29, 2023.
Finally head over to Downtown Disney, and try the Mermaid Classic Shake, a strawberry and blueberry shake topped with whipped cream and mermaid sprinkles, which is available at Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shake.
Walt Disney World Treats
Magic Kingdom is home to two of the movie-inspired treats, and both are available in the park’s Fantasyland.
The Divinely Diabolical, a fun twist on a classic cookies and cream shake, is available for purchase at The Friar’s Nook.
Nearby at Storybook Treats, DOLE Whip fans will want to try the DOLE Whip Strawberry swirled with Purple Cheesecake soft serve.
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, head over to Hollywood Scoops on Sunset Blvd for a The Little Mermaid Donut Milk Shake, a mango-guava-ginger milkshake topped with whipped cream and a pineapple-mango seashell donut.
At Disney Springs, swing by The Ganachery to try a new sweet treat: The Little Mermaid Sea Salt, Caramel and Chocolate Pop, a caramel sea salt pop with ocean fondant decor.
And boba fans will want to check out the Bubbles at Sea, featuring Gold Peak sweet green tea, lemon juice, pineapple and guava topped with boba pearls, and a splash of shimmer, which is available at multiple locations.
Photo Ops
As previously announced, Ariel herself will be making special appearances at the parks.
At Walt Disney World, guests can find her at Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, along with some concept art from the development of the new film and special props from “The Little Mermaid.”
Over at Disneyland, Ariel will greet guests in Fantasyland near “it’s a small world.”
There is also a new animated Magic Shot for all guests to enjoy at Walt Disney World. Guests can find the Disney PhotoPass photographer near Prince Eric’s castle inside Magic Kingdom.
And at Disney California Adventure park, Magic Key holders can capture this video with the photographer near the Silly Symphony Swings through May 31.
Finally, visitors to both Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort, and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World will find an Ariel sand sculpture next to each area’s Pandora store through June 4.
